Taylor named conference offensive player of the week

Olivet Nazarene University junior Megan Taylor (Springfield, Va.) earned her first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, for the week ending on Sept. 1.

Taylor scored three goals, all coming in one game, and dished out two assists, as the Tigers went 2-0-1 on the week.

Taylor dished out one assist, against Bethel College (Ind.) on Aug. 28, helping the Tigers to a 3-0 victory. She then posted a hat trick against Indiana Tech on Aug. 31, as the Tigers registered a 7-0 victory. Against Huntington University (Ind.) on Sept. 1, Taylor dished out one assist, as the Tigers finished in a 2-2 tie.

The Tigers improved to 3-0-1 with the week’s victories and return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at Grace College (Ind.) at 3 p.m.
